Lytec is a Windows based program that has been user friendly for our staff. The big difference we have found is not so much feature/function, but the level of support and availability from our Lytec vendor, DarwinTech, Inc. "I recently had the opportunity to have individual Medinotes training with Nicole Bacha of DarwinTech. Prior to this, I found that the group training sessions I attended were too basic. After personally speaking with Nicole after one of the seminars I attended, I hired her to come to my office for individual training. After 8 hours of training with Nicole, I was able to complete a majority of notes with little or no effort. I was able to develop a general podiatric examination template that was personal, complete and efficient. In addition, Nicole showed how my staff can use the software to ease the burden of documentation and get me out of the office sooner. I now have the expertise to develop templates on my own. I continue to train via computer on monthly topics. I would encourage all Medinotes users to have expert individual instruction. The software has so much to offer that it is nearly impossible to cover all the aspects of the program in a general instruction class. The time and money spent was more than worth it!"
